Following the unscheduled extended downtime caused by the recent EVE Online server move, CCP Games has promised to reimburse players for the lost play time with a small pool of additional skill-points that they can distribute any way they like. CCP went on to hint that they'd been working on a different gift for all players, a cryptic remark that had players both excited and bewildered. In a new devblog, CCP Zinfandel outlined exactly what this gift will be and how players can claim it.

To be released on the 29th of June, the Primae joins the ranks of the Apotheosis and Zephyr as another one-time gift ship delivered to all EVE players. Supplied free of charge by NPC industrial corporation Outer Ring Excavations, the Primae is a ship designed to help in planetary industry. This lightweight hauler features a low signature radius and significant hit-point buffer, making it a more defensible ship with which to haul materials between planets. To ensure it doesn't displace its paper-thin industrial cousins in the general hauling scene, the majority of the ship's cargo space is reserved for planetary equipment and processed materials. Two special bays able to hold only those materials ensure that the ship remains a tool for the planetary industrialists among us. We regret to inform you that deployment of our upcoming expansion Tyrannis has been pushed back by one week to May 26th, and that market seeding of Planetary Command Centers is pushed back to June 8th.

In our regression testing, we have identified scalability issues with the Planetary Interaction feature, which led to code refactoring that then needed further testing before being launched to Tranquility. Planetary Interaction is a unique feature in the sense that it is available to almost all players in the game providing opportunity for manufacturing for the masses, so ensuring that it runs smoothly on our cluster is of great importance to all.

EVE Gate will also be released on May 26th, with its web access to EVE Mail, Calendar and revamped contacts, both in-game and on the web.

Planetary interaction functionality is playable on Singularity, our public test server. A significant number of players have helped us by testing the game play and providing valuable feedback and we are grateful for that assistance. But the majority of EVE Online players have not yet had an opportunity to learn how to benefit and profit from the natural resources of the planets. This gives some players a slight advantage and we have chosen to take steps to somewhat level that playing field.

On release, you will be able to view resources on planets, buy and train skills pertaining to Planetary Interaction, discuss your options with your corporation and allied corporations and scout out the planets. We will be releasing a tutorial video in advance of the expansion deployment to help you learn the system as well, but actual manufacturing and extraction of commodities will only be available when we seed the Planetary Command Centers. We are giving players two weeks to familiarize themselves and make their decisions. During that time, our engineering team will be working behind the scenes to test and ensure stellar performance of said Command Centers. Mark your calendars: the great land rush begins when Tranquility opens after our normal downtime on June 8, 2010.

been a quite cpl of days with the nomads spiking holes.. had a helluva time they did.   spent some time polishing up alot of equipment and study.....

but the boys came on back ..had a good party, but now now they grow restless.
        waiting, waiting for a right proper hole to open up. few recruits didnt hold muster. retards... hope a cpl more steady handed make it out here.

rekon are worries for charming just got a lil easier i finally purchase a carrier, wyvren only one fit in the damn hole. but man is she a beauty. commishin'd her Whats up Doc' ... indeed.

now i notice that ive seen the over lay almost identical at sleeper sites. as they were but mimicing the stone ruins. as an engeneer you cant truly keep time as in 24 hours, but the depth and breath you crash your holes.(dailing as weve come to term it) now being that all true Whiskey holes bastards know . travel is far from truly random, however the lenght and breath of the math to link this is phenominal man power, such is the babylon of knowledge. but at this point. we are still testing and taking notes as to see common occurances tween everything known.... cause by god something change recently our static hole got smaller ...is it recycling itself for another run.. or does it belly up in the underword of cosmic holes..jeez man goes crazy thinking to much in the space between..keep alert gotta keep my eyes on curse.

well most of us made it back into charming, just in time for the venture ...after a bit of time off shopping for gear in empire. the girls are finally back to hitting the rocks. and the nomads have their clubhouse spiked in a nice c5. why they already had someone do a drive by. couple incapacitates. indeed.

well some settling begins as the wholes part company, each one with a few sigs about.
if we are right though. we should be seeing em soon enough when the holes collide again.

wonder when that will be. ..

1 week till im another year older and closer to death, but the sun is still the same in that ole realative way. maybe a carrier for the ole boy toy..

day 3 in empire space, and god have a spent a fortune and sold a fortune...
and with everything squared away, i take stock and inventory. 1 of 2 frieghters sold, a nice cynabal out of storage.. maybe one day ill snap a gila anyway. so much of a stock pile sold off, and only miss Curse's gear can fit in a racked out inty5.
heh well i still need my Charon to pilot.. think Curse has wondered off to an ice field to replinish an exausted store. such a useful girl even if she is canadian...

1 day to go and i start training caldari carrier finally. been putting off that school for so long now. but hey maybe the fellas will see a way to buy a carrier for that old bday coming in a week....

.. as i throw the bottle in to space.. quite an incedental day of timing in the damn whiskey hole. few of the girls in charming got hit hard today. both of em got the holy hell shot out of em. poor gals.. thats a hard transition for em both. Curse hadnt felt that sort of rip to her liquid in over a year... not even sure the last time ole sara got her pod popped... and damn if they didnt bout get me that time too... still a , well oddly enough i had just left both of them in the rare core deposit, and unloaded a transport. scan report of an hour earlier had revealed minimal sigs. and nothing on the other side... how so much changed in an hour.
christonapopcycle stick, if i didnt warp to member and thats when teh chatter started. a trail of bad guys , bombs deployed.. ship intell.. all hell was breaking loose... and me, in a damn bustard coming out of warp.. this outa be rich i think.. gotta get back to the pos and suit up no other shooters online..

the girls were gone a watse field to land upon and several angry dizeans hurtle towards me. snaking out of the dying bustard structure gone and a bomb on its way i slip towards the station.. fucking close one.. but everything is askew. but an idea spawns for the wreck.. a change. a perfect wicked change.

well our time line went a bit hurried but lucky us... our little moron starter wormholios bout lost my POS investment.. but to some degree the wormhole had gone barren for raping the resources for so long...
sonsabitches didnt even care/realize a mean and nasty crew had spiked a LARGE POS in the class3 and had spent over 8 hours moving in. of course it may have been over the static regenerating high sec hole...

so our class5 mining operation lost alot of crew members for an emergency evac. intell had them with 5-7 drakes, but upon entering the c3, well 3 BS, cheetah, jaguar, crane... they were set to ninja us. but alas the boys from charming moved out ofthe barren c3 ahead of schedual.... bastards i almost got their CEO at the wormhole with a manticores bomb....

we left em a warp bubble and a note...

diary of the whiskey holes

this is the transimission of the corp FBS and the continuation of life in a WH.

we have been living for 4 months now and have rightly infected two WH and pullings up stakes in the 3rd.
we have learned alot in these past 4 months. we have seen our old alliance lose their WH pos this week (thank god we went solo, no?) .
so this c4 we live in... been so barren of signals this past week.. and our static hole has changed... much to my chagrin as the corp WH engineer.. the Capt. called off dialing em as i see fit. this will put my WH travel math/map on a severe setback. ... of course just when i get good at dialing them. but god knows i had em dialed in for a minute... even dialing nicely on the outer holes... but now our static is half the size.
but alas, we have been blessed today a RARIFIED DEPOSIT ... Curse has her favorite ship out blazing down the chuinks as shes a mining godess.. has me worried though she is a bit lax. ill have to keep an eye and set up booby traps... (no not for her dammit) ...have to keep the crew safe. but goddamn i see what she's all in a tizzy about, that lil sig is worth about 3-4 bill est. even refined out here. but again the holes are open about us, and as wee peek into theirs...so they into ours.
but by god, keep it straight in charming MF ( yes we named our hole Charming.)
